Apple has allegedly deferred the launch of its electric vehicle (EV) from 2026 to 2028 and downsized its self-driving features.
The vehicle, part of Apple's Project Titan, will presently highlight "level two" independent driving capabilities, likened to Tesla's Autopilot, where the driver stays in charge while the vehicle can play out specific moves autonomously.
Apple's unique desire was to launch a "level four" vehicle, fit for driving itself under most circumstances. The change in technique is viewed as a critical moment, and Apple's board is supposed to choose whether to continue or end the project.
