Pakistan Super League (PSL) declared KFC as its snack partner. Accordingly, the #BoycottPSL trend began on X in which Pakistani fans communicated their contradiction towards the choice in the midst of the continuous Israeli brutalities against the innocent residents of Palestine.
KFC is subsidiary of Yum! Brands. The parent organization additionally owns Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and The Habit Burger Grill. Yum! Brands' subsidiaries are known for giving free food to Israeli soldier causing brutalities on Palestinians.
Taking into account the political environment and Pakistan's feeling toward the Israel-Palestine war, the move by the PSL was reprimanded. Many fans took to Twitter and offered their viewpoint which made a social media storm.
