Pakistan's agriculture sector still uses traditional farming techniques, prompting low yields against significant expenses. There's a need to embrace the latest tunnel farming strategies utilized by Chinese farmers, which have changed their farming landscape.
Hassan Ali, a PhD researcher from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, expressed this while addressing WealthPK.
Hassan said China was assisting Pakistan with working on its agriculture and different areas under the CPEC and Pakistan can take tunnel farming to a higher level with the assistance of Chinese organizations and farmers. It is an effective method for getting the desired products in a controlled environment at reasonable rates.
