The government of Punjab has inaugurated a drive to launch cooperative farming, expecting to support the production of onions, tomatoes, and different vegetables.
This drive will give subsidies to set of 5-10 farmers for fundamental assets like fertilizers, drip irrigation, seeds, and solarization.
This type of farming method will guarantee a consistent supply of these fundamental vegetables in Punjab for a half year, forestalling artificial price inflation.
