The OICCI - Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry has suggested that the government of Pakistan suspend the Rs5,000 bank note to reduce cash exchanges.
Furthermore, the OICCI has proposed making the National Tax Number (NTN) obligatory for opening accounts at bank, and for the deal and acquisition of vehicles and properties.
They additionally propose requiring NTN for foreign travel and club memberships.
