Imran Khan has nominated Ali Amin Gandapur as KPK Chief Minister

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party has won the 2024 elections in the northwestern area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and its founder, Imran Khan, has selected Ali Amin Gandapur as the next chief minister of KPK. Imran Khan, who has been in jail since August last year, affirmed Gandapur's designation to journalists during a formal conversation. He expressed that his party wouldn't haggle with the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) for a coalition government.

In an election in Dera Ismail Khan - NA-44, PTI's Ali Amin Gandapur crushed Maulana Fazlur Rehman of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), getting 92,244 votes.
