Israel to restrict the quantity of Muslims who need to offer Friday prayers at Masjid Al Aqsa during the forthcoming Ramadan holy month, the police minister has said, refering to concern the flashpoint site could see protests against the conflict in Gaza, TRT World reported.
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said on Tuesday his bid to ban most Muslim locals from Friday prayers during Ramadan was overruled by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
All things considered, he said a cap of 40,000 to 50,000 would be followed, have effectively contended against officials who needed 120,000 to 150,000 entered.
