Masjid al Nabawi holds an amazing historical importance as it was the first spot in the Arabian Peninsula to have electricity. This achievement happened in 1909 during the reign of Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II. However these days, the inside of the Masjid is really enamoring, with more than 100,000 lights and 2000 chandeliers making a fascinating environment.
What's noteworthy is that the Masjid is outfitted with 1000 speakers, permitting the call to prayer (Azaan) to be heard up to a distance of 6.2 miles (10 kilometers). These elements upgrade the heavenliness of Masjid al Nabawi.
