The interior ministry has chosen to "briefly suspend mobile services across the Pakistan" considering the "deteriorating security circumstance".
In a proclamation, the ministry said, "Recent increase in terrorist activities bringing about valuable lives have stirred security environment in Pakistan."
Accordingly, it added, "need has emerged to go to measures to safeguard against" security threats."
