The Pakistan Deaf cricket team, under the captaincy of Zaka Ahmed Qureshi, arose as the winners of the Deaf International Cricket Council (DICC) T20 World Cup 2024, which happened at the Cricket Vision Centre in Sharjah, UAE, from March 6 to 12.
Six countries partook in the fourth edition of the DICC T20 World Cup, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Australia.
In the final, Pakistan convincingly crushed Sri Lanka by 88 runs. Posting a sum of 151 runs, Pakistan's bowlers then confined Sri Lanka to only 63 runs in 16.5 overs.
