Pakistan has seen huge development in its Information Technology (IT) services export, with an income of US $1,454.881 million recorded during the initial half year of the fiscal year 2023-24. This denotes an amazing increment of 8.98% contrasted with a similar period in the past fiscal year.
The export of computer services experienced eminent development, especially in hardware consultancy services, which saw am increase of 3.401%, adding up to US $404.875 million, and computer software services, which expanded by 2.79%, reaching US $310.807 million. However, certain segments inside the computer services sector saw slight downfall, for example, repair and maintenance services and software consultancy services.
