Pakistan stands on 52nd position on IMF List of Poorest Countries

The rankings given by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) shed light on the financial scene of different nations, with Pakistan at 52nd position, closely followed by Bangladesh at 62nd and India at 63rd, among the world's poorest countries. Nepal stands apart as the poorest country in South Asia, placing at the 40th position of the list.

At 1st place of this list is South Sudan, with a per capita GDP of $492.72, credited to political instability, fights, and limited infrastructure since acquiring independence in 2011. On the other hand, Luxembourg arises as the richest country worldwide, flaunting an exceptional GDP per capita of $145,834, followed intently by Ireland, Singapore, and Qatar.
