Pakistan’s GDP to reach 2.8% in FY2025, World Bank

Economy of Pakistan continues to stabilize from the recent economic emergency, with GDP recuperating to 2.5 percent in the financial year 2024 and GDP growth is supposed to reach 2.8 percent in FY25, says the World Bank in its most recent country economic update.

Macroeconomic dangers are still high reflecting modest reserves, financial sector vulnerabilities, high financing needs, high debt and servicing costs, and a loss-making energy sector, as per report.
