In February 1960, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) got a wet lease agreement with Pan American Airlines, procuring a Boeing 707. This spearheading move saw the airplane making its debut on the Karachi-London route on 7 March 1960.
Outstandingly, during its underlying tasks, the Boeing 707 was flown by Pan Am pilots, featuring a cooperative exertion between the two airlines.
