Punjab's Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has declared plans for the initiation of Punjabi as a subject in schools. Speaking at a ceremony held at Al Hamra Hall for Punjab Culture Day, she offered appreciation to individuals of Punjab for their confidence in her leadership.
She urged parents to teach their children the Punjabi language and vowed help for the restoration of Punjabi cinema.
