Remittances in Pakistan increased to $2.849 billion in the month of September 2024, an increment of 29% year-on-year from the $2.208 billion around the same time last year, as per late information shared by the SBP - State Bank of Pakistan.
In spite of this yearly increment, September saw a 3% decline from the $2.943 billion in August 2024.
For the first quarter of the financial year 2025, Remittances in Pakistan have shown a noteworthy 39% increase, adding up to $8.8 billion contrasted with $6.3 billion in a similar time of the past financial year.
