As the weather changes in Karachi, an increase in viral infections, including the Adeno virus, has appeared, as per Registrar Jinnah Hospital, Dr. Halar Sheikh. He forewarned that the risk of Adeno virus has raised with the change in weather conditions, prompting side effects like cold, cough, and fever.
Dr. Halar Sheikh said that Adeno virus infections are normal during weather conditions changes, and keeping in mind that most cases bring about recuperation, people, particularly the old, asthmatic, and diabetic patients, should take caution. The virus might possibly advance to pneumonia, especially among those with weak immune system or lacking proper nutrition.
