President of Russia Vladimir Putin was seen kissing the Holy Quran during his visit to a Masjid in Chechnya in a video that has circulated around the internet via social media.
Putin likewise met with Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov, with whom he visited the recently built masjid in the capital, which expects to be an important religious site for Muslims in the district.
