A shoe was thrown on Saturday at Punjab's former chief minister and PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz during a rally in NA-118 constituency, from where he is running election.
During the rally at Delhi gate area of the old city, a young fellow threw a shoe at Hamza, which hit his shoulder.
Following the episode, the PML-N laborers surrounded the one who threw the shoe on their leader and attacked him a sound whipping prior to giving him to police.
