The best Ottoman ruler was Suleiman the Magnificent, who ruled from 1520-1566. His rule was the peak of Ottoman power, and he carried the domain to its level of strength and thriving.
He vanquished Hungary in 1526 and, after three years, laid attack to the city of Vienna. He vanquished the powerful fortifications of Rhodes and Belgrade with the assistance of huge cannons and gunpowder. He added the vast majority of the Middle East in his contention with the Safavids and enormous wraps of North Africa, as far west as Algeria. Subject to his authority, the Ottoman armada overwhelmed the oceans from the Mediterranean to the Red Ocean and the Persian Gulf.
After his passing, a time of slow decline started of Ottoman Empire.
