Textile exports in Pakistan saw a 1.41% increase to $15.2 billion in the initial eleven months of FY2023-24 contrasted with the earlier year, as revealed by the PBS- Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
May denoted a 18% year-on-year expansion in exports, coming to $1.558 billion, the most noteworthy since August 2022. Key increments included raw cotton (+317%), bedwear (+4.77%), and cotton yarn (+23.47%).
Exports of cotton cloth (- 6.91%), yarn other than cotton (- 24.08%), and knitwear (- 1.60%) saw decrease.
In a nutshell, textile exports in Pakistan showed a huge month to month increment of 25.94% from April 2024.
