President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that burning of the Quran or disrespecting Prophet Muhammad (SAW) isn't viewed as a wrongdoing in certain nations however it is punishable in Russia.
"In our country, this is a wrongdoing both as per the Constitution and the penal code," he said.
He further expressed that Muslims have strong faith in the Quran and Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and we won't ever permit any moves toward be taken in our country that would hurt the opinions of Muslims or conflict with Islam.
