The government of Pakistan, along with SIFC - Special Investment Facilitation Council, has agreed to a $10 billion contract to build an oil refinery, planning to handle the country's energy crisis obstructing economic development.
Simultaneously, projects are in progress to explore coastal oil and gas reserves, expecting investment of $5 to $6 billion.
