Remittances sent by Pakistanis living abroad in Pakistan rose by 10.7 percent to $30.25 billion in financial year 2023-24 (FY24) contrasted with remittances of $27.3 billion enlisted in the past financial year. Nonetheless, the remittances in FY24 are still lower than the inflows of $31.28 billion kept in FY22.
Remittances during June 2024 were essentially obtained from Saudi Arabia ($808.6 million), UAE - United Arab Emirates ($654.3 million), UK - United Kingdom ($487.4 million) and the US - United States of America ($322.1 million).
