Pakistan's position on the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) has improved by seven places from 140 in 2022 to 133 in of 2023 out of 180 nations, Transparency International said in a report on Tuesday.
The CPI positions 180 nations and territories by their apparent degrees of public-sector corruption as per specialists and business owners. It depends on 13 independent data sources and uses a size of zero to 100, where zero is profoundly corrupt and 100 is exceptionally clean.
The report distributed by the Berlin-based corruption watchdog, shows that during 2023, the nation's position was 133 while the CPI score was 29 out of 100.
