Young Voters increases from 46.43M to 56.86M in Pakistan

The political landscape in Pakistan is set for a huge shift as the quantity of youthful citizens has flooded from 46.43 million of 2018 to a stunning 56.86 million, denoting an increment of 10.42 million in six years. This segment rise positions the young to play a critical part in the impending general elections booked for the coming month.

Out of all 128.58 million citizens, the youthful elector population is remarkable 44.22%, with 31.85 million in Punjab, 11.72 million in Sindh, 10.72 million in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and 2.3 million in Balochistan. Separating the age-wise information uncovers 23.51 million electors aged 18 to 25 and 33.34 million in the 26 to 35 age bunch.

District wise investigation shows 19 districts across three provinces with more than half of people under 35 enrolled as voters, accentuating the young's critical electoral presence. KP leads with the most noteworthy extent of youthful citizens at 51.40%, with regions like Bajaur and North Waziristan standing apart with 54.45% and 54.30% youthful electors, separately.

In Balochistan, Dera Bugti, Shirani, Chaghai, and Khatak brag more than half of youthful voters, while in Punjab, just Dera Ghazi Khan outperforms this edge. Sindh shows differed extents, with Ghotki district driving at 47.95% and Karachi (South) at the lower end with 35.30%.
